Refunds, Returns & Warranty Policy
We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order.
Change of Mind Returns
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept change-of-mind returns once an item has been opened or used.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:
- The item must be unused and unopened
- Returned in its original packaging
- Returned within 30 days of delivery
- Proof of purchase is required
Used thermometers, probes, or accessories cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind.
Faulty or Defective Products
Our thermometers are electronic devices and are covered under Australian Consumer Law.
If your product is:
- Faulty
- Not functioning as intended
- Defective on arrival
Please contact us at hello@cookin.com.au with:
Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Photos or videos where possible
We’ll assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund in line with ACL requirements.
Please note:
Bluetooth range and performance can vary depending on distance, walls, interference, and the mobile device being used. This is a normal limitation of Bluetooth technology and does not constitute a fault.
Warranty
All Cookin thermometers are backed by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery.
If a device is found to be faulty within the warranty period:
- We will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product
- Replacements may be new or refurbished, depending on stock availability
- Refurbished units are fully tested and functionally equivalent to new units
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, modification, or improper care
- Issues caused by environmental factors outside normal use
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim
To request a return or make a warranty claim, please email hello@cookin.com.au before sending anything back.
If approved:
- We’ll provide return instructions
- Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted
